WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIVERTICULOSIS AND DIVERTICULITIS?
DIVERTICULOSIS OR DIVERTICULITIS? The terms diverticulosis and diverticulitis sound similar, but
Yes, these are the insurance plans contracted: Molina, Regence, Premera, First Choice, Kaiser Permanente (PPO only). Although Dr. Buckle has contracts with these insurance providers, all plans are different. Please verify that you have benefits to see a naturopathic doctor by making a quick call to your insurance plan.
Important Updates:
Starting with September appointments, instead of calling Prime Health Clinic to schedule your follow-up appointment with Dr. Buckle, you may either book online at her website www.pnwintegrativemed.com, or call her office at 206-643-2239, where Amanda will be happy to get you scheduled. If you are already scheduled to see her through August via the Prime Health Clinic system, Dr. Buckle will see you as planned. She will continue working with Dr. Abdullah and Dr. Omar, as always, but the appointment process will now be streamlined and simpler. You will also have easy access to any labs, tests, or imaging reports that Dr. Buckle orders, available through the portal as soon as she signs them. The schedule is also open extended patient care hours Tuesday through Thursday, offering more flexibility. We hope this transition goes smoothly for everyone. Please contact Amanda at the office if you need any assistance.
Naturopathic doctors are educated and trained in accredited naturopathic medical colleges. Dr. Buckle received an ND degree from Bastyr University in 2008. NDs diagnose, prevent, and treat acute and chronic illness to restore and establish optimal health by supporting the body’s inherent self-healing process. Rather than just suppressing symptoms, naturopathic doctors work to identify underlying causes of illness and develop personalized treatment plans to address them.
The term Integrative medicine describes a method of employing the best of natural medicine with the best of conventional medicine, to support the best outcomes for patients. What the combination looks like for each person is individualized to their specific needs.
You may use the “schedule now” button on the website to request a spot to be reserved for you. Dr. Buckle’s assistant will then call you to follow up and confirm. Or, you may call the clinic directly at 206-643-2239 to request your appointment.
Yes. Since 2014 Dr. Buckle has worked in a gastroenterology specialty clinic managing digestive conditions in children and adults alike. She’s helped hundreds of pediatric patients with IBS symptoms. She can help you get to the root cause of your child’s IBS and get them back to feeling like a kid again.
Dr. Buckle offers telemedicine visits via a HIPAA compliant audio/video platform on all clinic days, and in-person visits available exclusively on Thursdays.
Yes. Dr. Buckle uses doxy.me, a real time audio/visual platform, for seeing patients virtually. A link is sent with the appointment reminder the day before. You can log on with a computer or phone. Please make sure you are not driving for the entirety of the visit.
Due to Covid-19, Dr. Buckle is seeing patients exclusively via telemedicine, with few exceptions. If she deems that a patient absolutely needs a physical exam, the patient will wait in the parking lot until their appointment time and will be invited up via text. No patients will be waiting in the waiting room. Ample time will be given between patients to allow for air circulation, in addition to rigorous cleaning of the exam room and other surfaces.
For any billing questions, please contact Stacey or Adrienne at Thrive. They may be reached via email at buckle@thrivepractices.com or by calling 206.875.1175

These visits are wellness consults, rather than medical visits, and cannot be billed to insurance. Please see FAQ information on current published out-of-pocket rates. As a wellness consultant, Dr. Buckle will not be able to order labs or tests, prescribe medications, or treat/diagnose any conditions, but instead, can only advise.
The clinic is located at 9057 Greenwood Ave N Ste C205 Seattle, WA 98013. The sign says Wellpoint Natural Health Clinic. Please make sure you are at the door for Suite C205, NOT at the gated entrance. The door will be locked. Just ring the buzzer when you arrive, and Dr. Buckle will either buzz you in, or come open the door for you. Please wait in the waiting area, and she will be with you when she is finished with the prior patient. There is not a parking lot, but there is usually street parking available.
